So pay to play has gone, why? Because those who have paid, have got us to this point, and by finally admitting we no longer needed dedicated boxes (for now?), those of us who have paid, also came to this decision.
So the simple answer is... Fuck 'em!
They have neither contributed financially or helpfully to any aspect of this clan other than free loading off everyone else's hard work and commitment.
Do we really care about Gav? No.
Do we really care about T00my? No, not really.
An alternative approach to dedicated boxes in the future should be...
1. Chose game
2. If enough support, look at dedi box costs
3. If in agreement, we pay up front for 3 months and see how it goes.
If we lose interest, it'd be a good 3 months, otherwise, keep it free and simples.
Just because we go free doesn't mean we have ti let anyone in, it's still our clan and our decision.

Well agree with that as well, but i think it's because we are going free that it why this question has been asked,

People say they want dedicated / ranked boxes.
People say they will pay for them
People say they will use them
After 5 years doing this I can tell you catagorically none of the above EVER happens round here.
If its going to be an issue then why not the people who have left STAY left?

We seem to be locked into some kind of suicidal cycle where we get rid of a load of people who can't/won't pay, then go free and get a few back.
This is the second time we've done it that I can remember.
I've got nothing against anyone who left, but do we just invite them all back and forget the last few months?
Maybe I'm missing the point here, but I too am confused as to what we're trying to achieve.

johnny has a point this needs to be put to a vote or at best a discussion. Its not fair that some people cheeped the system and come back as full members ( largely of witch have done nothing to very little towards helping or funding uTi) should be welcomed back as full members

in my opinon... ppl who have left clearly can't waltz back and have admin, as to wether we allow them back....if we want them back I suggest we vote on a case by case basis.
@Ronx: Webhosting and ftp and mail etc are gonna have to be billed, cos y'know, bandwidth isn't free.
My rough-round-the-edges-open-to-debate plan is to seperate out that stuff from clan stuff...so Clan can always remain free.
Don't worry, you won't lose anything - we're from the internetz
